Summer Soul Care at Outlook - Try Softer
If we’re honest, many of us have been over-functioning for so long that burnout feels normal, and slowing down feels almost impossible.
We wonder: How else will things get done? How will we keep up? How will we survive?
But real health isn’t found in pushing harder, it’s found in learning to compassionately listen to our own needs.
This is where we begin to “try softer”, not as a one-time decision, but as an intentional, ongoing shift. A way of learning to be with ourselves instead of constantly pushing past ourselves.
As we begin to grow deeper in connection our connetion with God and to pay attention to what’s happening beneath the surface, we create space to move through our pain rather than ignore it. And in doing so, we begin to live with greater gentleness, clarity, and resilience- not just surviving, but becoming whole.
